Darth Vader and Family

Almost every year my family travels to Clackamas, Oregon, for the Thanksgiving weekend. Whenever we are there, we spend "Black Friday" shopping and eating on NW 23rd Ave. We always start with a meal. We've eaten at Vivace Coffee House & Creperie, Saint Honore Bakery, the French bakery, and Little Big Burger. Then, we head to the South end of the street and start shopping.

In 2012, I found a great little book at Paper Source called "Darth Vader and Son", by Jeffrey Brown. It is seriously 'laugh out loud' funny, particularly if you are a parent. I bought the book and the follow up "Vader's Little Princess" as birthday gifts for my brother last year. He's a huge Star Wars fan. Two weeks ago, I could not help myself...I had to purchase the Darth Vader and Family notecard set.

There are 20 cards, four each of five designs. I feel like I need to be extra thoughtful about who I send them to. There are only 20! I know, I know...I can buy more. But, I kind of like the idea of sending just the 20. Maybe I should keep track of who I send them to. Hmmm, good idea. The inside of the lid is white and blank. That would be a good place for it.
